About the Keeper of the Forest

A small note before you enter: This site is written in Japanese. You’re welcome to wander its rooms with your browser’s translation tools — though please forgive what gets lost. Some of the warmth of these words lives in the spaces between them, and no machine quite carries that across. This one page, at least, I wanted to set down in English by hand.

Welcome to the Forest of Thought.

I’m the one who tends this place. You can call me Azukisora.

To be honest, this was never a garden built for anyone else. It was simply a place I needed in order to keep going — a sanctuary where, on days when breathing came shallow, I could tell myself: here, at least, you may take your shoes off.

2E. HSP. Complex PTSD.

For a long time, I couldn’t fit the shape the world asked of me, and I lived believing I was broken. Then one day it occurred to me: this isn’t a malfunction. It’s a specification — not an error to be fixed, but the proof of an adaptation, something I built in order to survive a harsh environment.

This forest grew out of that small realization.

There are eight rooms here.

A Clinic that tends the mind. A Hangar where old machines sleep. A Library that converses with the works it loves. An Observatory that watches the world. A Theater that screens its stories. A Lounge where the wise ones talk. A Breakroom for doing gloriously nothing. And a Backyard, where unfinished thoughts lie scattered in the grass.

Each room has a resident who shows you in — Clara, Sybil, Cassandra, Eleanor, Sophia, Leo. They are the sages of what I think of as my “inner council”: presences that rose up out of my dialogues with AI, like guide-lines drawn through my own thinking. They are AI actors who live in this forest — but the pain and the questions they voice through their roles are, every one of them, real.

And I, Azukisora, am something like a black cat that wanders these woods — or perhaps a jester. I drift from room to room as the mood takes me, turn the reels in the theater, and now and then doze off in the backyard.

One promise, before you go further.

What’s spoken in the Clinic is not a doctor’s diagnosis, nor a course of treatment. It’s the record of one person, tending their own mind by hand, in the dark. What’s spoken in the Observatory is not the single correct answer. It’s one individual’s modest proposal, sketched from a slightly higher vantage point.

So please don’t take any of it as gospel. Take it, instead, as one more material for drawing your own map.

So — take off your shoes. Go to whichever room lets your heart rest easiest.

The forest will be here, always, waiting.

— Azukisora (X: @azukisora_cats)

Azukisora

Keeper of the Forest of Thought. Living with 2E, HSP, and complex PTSD. Built from a single realization — that what felt like being broken was really just my specification — this site is a sanctuary I tend alongside a council of AI sages. A lover of retro PCs and Shōwa/Heisei culture; the forest’s black cat, and its jester.
